Is Nara Baby Still Free? 2026 Pricing & a Free Alternative

By

Updated

Nara Baby now requires a paid plan after its free trial. Check current pricing, save your records, and compare Snug’s free baby tracking with Premium.

What does Nara Baby cost now?

If you remember Nara Baby as a free tracker, its payment model has changed. Here is the pricing published in Nara’s own FAQ, checked November 1, 2026.

Published US-dollar pricing, checked November 1, 2026
OptionCost and access
Free trial7 days of full access, starting with your first logged activity
Monthly planUS$9.99 per month
Lifetime planUS$99.99 once

Both paid options include the same features, and one payment covers an app family’s invited caregivers. Qualifying users may receive promotional offers. Check the price and terms shown in your app for your country and account.

What happens if you do not pay?

According to Nara’s FAQ, the app becomes read-only after the trial without a paid plan: your history stays viewable and exportable, but you cannot add new activities. The trial needs no payment details and does not automatically charge you.

Before choosing another app, separate two decisions: where to keep your old records, and where to log tomorrow’s feeds and naps. You can keep an archive while trying a different daily tracker. Give yourself time to check that its controls and paid features suit your routine.

Snug as a free Nara Baby alternative

We make Snug, so this is our own product comparison. Snug’s core baby tracking is free. You can record everyday feeds, sleep, and diapers without buying Premium. Snug is available on iPhone and Android.

If you used Nara mainly to remember the last bottle or nap, start by trying Snug’s free tracking. If several caregivers need a shared timeline, include the cost of Premium in your decision. Available plans, pricing, and trial eligibility appear before purchase.

How to export your Nara Baby data before switching

Nara’s official export instructions work without a subscription:

  1. Open Nara Baby’s main Activity screen.
  2. Tap the avatar next to your child’s name.
  3. Tap Export Data to save a CSV file.

Keep the original file in a place you can find again. Open a copy in a spreadsheet and check a few familiar entries, dates, and times before relying on it as your archive. If you track more than one child, keep their files clearly named.

Nara Baby import into Snug is not available yet. You can start fresh entries in Snug and keep your Nara export separately, but that CSV will not currently populate your Snug timeline. If importing your full history is essential, take that into account before switching.

Try one normal day before moving your routine

You do not need to recreate months of history to see whether a new tracker fits. Try the actions you repeat most:

  • Record a feed. Check that you can quickly choose nursing or a bottle and correct the time or amount.
  • Time a nap. Start and stop sleep, then find the entry again.
  • Log a diaper. Make sure yesterday’s entries are easy to review.
  • Check shared care if you need it. Review Premium access with the other caregiver before moving your shared routine.

Pick a clear time to begin using your new tracker so you know where to look for the latest entry. Keep the old archive available whenever you need earlier records.

Try Snug’s free baby tracking and see how it feels during an ordinary day.

Questions to ask before choosing a free baby tracker

Does “free to download” mean free to keep tracking?

Check what happens after any trial. A free download alone does not tell you whether daily logging, caregiver sharing, or reports require payment.

Is everything in Snug free?

No. Core tracking is free; the table above lists paid features. Decide whether you need a personal daily log or the additional guidance, sharing, and reporting included with Premium.

Can I keep my old records and use a new app?

Yes. You can retain an exported archive and begin new entries elsewhere. Keeping a file is different from importing it into another app’s timeline, so verify import support before choosing a tracker on that basis.
